Optically Isolated Power Transistor

This circuit is optically isolated power transistor. D1 and D2 are almost all standard optical isolators. With no drive, the base current of Q1 R1 absorb holding it off. When power is applied to the LED, D2 allows the current flows from collector to base. Less than 20 ยตA from the diode is needed to turn entirely on the LM195. Here is a schematic drawing:
